If you have an interest in Print Making in any of its many forms, then come along. Meet other like minded people. Whatever your level or where ever you are on your printmaking journey, if you have the passion for print, come along.
You may just want a couple of hours to work on a project whilst being able to talk to other creatives. You might want to discuss and share tips and tricks of printmaking processes. It may be that you would like to collaborate with others to have an exhibition or have a space to hire for workshops of your own. Sometimes it's just nice to have some company whilst doing some work. Sometimes we organise an activity to do whilst we are there. Lets create a community of Print Makers in our area.
Print Club Prompt
We think it can be helpful to have a prompt for our Print Clubbers to make a start on a project. There is no pressure to create anything, only for it to stimulate creativity. The current prompt is 'The written word' to be interpreted in any way. This could be about song lyrics, a poem or a story to name a few potential ideas. There is no size restriction or restrictions to print process. We would love to see your results.
Whatever the reason, we would love to see you on Thursday. If you can make it, let us know by emailing us here, or drop us a DM on Instagram or Facebook.

Our space is a work in progress, but we believe it to be a creative, friendly, welcoming and inclusive space for all that visit us. We will always have the kettle on and biscuits to hand!
We aim to work within the community to bring Printmaking to the people!
Sustainability is important to us, so whilst we can't hope to be completely sustainable because of our creation of 'physical' products, we do try to make informed decisions about the products we use and the amount we use. We try to minimise paper waste and maximise it's use elsewhere. We recycle or reuse our papers where we can by keeping a paper 'stash' that we can use in future projects or workshops for collage and papermaking, to give a couple of examples.
In our intaglio processes, we are always looking at more environmentally friendly ways to produce our work and introduce these as they have been tried and tested by us. We use mainly vegetable oil to clean up oil based inks and keep the use of solvents to a bare minimum.
We are happy that a couple of our product suppliers have changed their packaging to plastic free and when sending products ourselves, we use plastic free packaging also and reuse where we can.
We can offer outreach workshops and are happy to discuss any ideas you may have for us to come to your organisation. Contact us here.
