Pattern to Print - An intro to screenprinting onto fabric

We are pleased to welcome fabulous artist/printmaker Rachel Clayton to Print [works] Weston for this vibrant and creative workshop.

Be inspired by Rachel's professional and artistic guidance through intial drawing techniques and mark making exercises that will introduce you to create a range of abstract patterns.

These will then be processed onto screens and used alongside shapes printed using hand cut paper stencils and blank screens to create a small collection of prints on fabric that can be used for your own interior projects such as cushions or lampshades.

A day that is suitable for beginners or those thata have some experience and would like a refresher on fabric printing.  There will be a small group size of no more than 6 so we will be able to fully engage and support you on this busy and satisfying workshop.
